Navigating Buttons on a Web Page

Buttons on a web page are generally used for tasks such as submitting a form you just filled out, submitting something you have written in a search box, or accepting some type of agreement.  "Save, Submit, OK, Search" are some common button names.  If you are using a mouse, you simple left click on the button to activate it.  If you are using a screen reader, tap the letter "b" on a web page again-and-again to see what buttons are there.  If you go too far, press and hold down the Shift key and hit the letter "b" to go backwards or up the buttons on the web page.  Hitting the space bar will activate a button.

There are buttons on this page for you to practice with.  These buttons will do nothing, but will give you the chance to click, or use the letter b or Shift b, and then use the space bar.  At the very end of the page is the "BACK" link which takes you back to the "Internet Lessons" page.
