Making an entire row currency or percent.
1. Open Excel.
2. Put your name in cell a1.
3. Put the date in cell a2.
4. Put the time in cell a3.
5. Go to cell a5.

Press and hold down the control and shift keys and tap the right
arrow key one time. The entire row will be highlighted.
7. Release all keys.
8. Press control shift and tap the number 4.
9. Release all keys.
10. Type a 1.75.
11. Tap the tab key one time—notice you are moving to the
right, across the row. If you accidentally type a number you do not
want, and you have moved to the next cell, press and hold down the shift
key and tap the tab key to move backwards one cell.
12. Tab and type 3.23.
13. Tab and type 5.55.
14. Tab one more time.
15. Tap the home key one time. This takes you to the beginning of the row (not to the top of the file).
16. Listen to see in the first number you typed is currency.
Tap the tab key and listen to the next cell to see if it is currency,
and so on.
17. Go to cell a6.
18. Press and hold down the control and shift keys and tap the right arrow key one time.
19. Release all keys.
20. Press control shift and the number 5 to format in percents.
21. Tap the right arrow key one time.
22. Tap the left arrow key one time.
23. Type 4.
24. Tab one time.
25. Type 5.
26. Tab one time.
27. Type 6.
28. Tab one time.

Tap the home key and listen to see if you hear four
percent. Tab and listen again for the number to be in percent
format.
30. Press control home.
31. Save the file as Excel Lesson Six.
32. Print two copies, and give one to the teacher and keep one for yourself.
